Dan Breck was born and raised around wood and forests all over the United States. He graduated with a degree in Forestry and minor in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. After a “quick” trip to BC in his old VW beetle, he fell in love with the place and moved up shortly after. Since then he has spent countless hours puttering in his workshop, building things for his kids, fixing anything that is breaks, and breathing in the crisp, clean air of the west coast. When he retired years ago, he picked up wood-turning and never looked back. Today he spends his time taking down trees, hauling logs, turning bowls (and anything else that can be turned) and teaching the next generation of wood-turners.
