Many many thanks to everyone who came to our *first ever* Spring First Pick Handmade Market. We had so much fun and are over the moon with the support that we felt from everyone at the show. We know there are so many places for you to spend your time and consumer dollars, and we feel huge amounts of gratitude that you chose to spend them with us. Handmade is a way of living, and we are incredibly thankful for everyone who encouraged their friends and family to check out our event and to support local!
Incase you missed something at the show, don’t forget most of our vendors are online and offer local pick up to save on shipping… Find them on our Vendors page! If you saw something but don’t know who made it, feel free to get in contact with us and we’ll do our best to help you track the right maker down.
We’d like to give some very special shout outs to some very special people: The Fawnz Creative for doing such a fabulous job on our PR Campaign, Limelight Floral Design for the gorgeous floral arrangements. Huge thanks to the Georgia Straight for spreading the word, and all the other media that helped us promote our Buy Local message. Thanks to Dingo at Apollo Nine Design for our graphics, and Jan and her team at Heritage Hall for our stunning venue. Many thanks to Haisla and Philip for their work at our admissions desk, and the biggest thanks to all our designers for bringing their best of the best when it came to their products, booth displays, attitude and teamwork…. They are the shining stars of our show and we can’t wait to hang out again.
